Descripción
Sumario:This is a reflection article of a legal nature and is the product of bibliographic research in different sources of information that have great influence in the national and international community. It has the academic intention of exposing the origin of food sovereignty, its definition, foundations, the difference with food security, the human right to adequate food and the validity of the peasant struggle for the achievement of sovereignty also known as a weapon to combat hunger in Colombia. Finally, it concludes that the State has international obligations to respect, protect, promote, facilitate and fulfill the right to adequate food and that the Government of Colombia must listen and heed the clamor of the peasantry for food sovereignty to effectively attack hunger.
