| Sumario: | This research was carried out with the objective of evaluating the morphological variability of wild and semi-domesticated nanche, as well as the post-harvest behavior of genotypes cold stored and treated with 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) for which the work was divided into two phases: the first evaluated the diversity of wild and backyard nanche in three locations in Nayarit; the second, the post-harvest quality of fruits of three genotypes (Appendix A3) of nanche stored in four temperatures (8,13,15 and 22 ± 2 ° C) and three concentrations of 1-MCP (100, 300 and 600 ppm). During the first phase, tours were conducted to locate trees, take data in situ, and collect leaves and fruits. The variables were: habit of growth, distribution of the branches, trunk diameter, height to the first branch, canopy shape, length, width and length-width ratio of the leaf; size, shape, color and flavor of the fruit; polar, equatorial diameter, polar-equatorial relation of the fruit and seed; weight of fruit, pulp and seed; total soluble solids. |
