Resumo:The present paper presents an exploratory statistical analysis of variables associated with duration from a sample of 511 judgments of dismissal versus the Department of Education. On average, there is a longer duration in: (a) the trials of workers from other state different from Mexico City, (b) trials in which it is given to the worker a larger payment at the end of the dispute, and (c) trials where the parties stand many resources. Finally, recommendations are given to decrease the duration of trials of foreign workers, particularly the implementation of technological tools, designing a strategy to increase Chamber productivity, as the trials on average three years duration.
