Sumario:Digital leadership is crucial in today's environment, where technology plays a critical role. Studying digital leadership in university students is of great importance, since they represent a generation immersed in the digital age and are expected to be leaders in the future. The objective of the study was to evaluate the digital leadership of university students in a degree program in administration at a public university located in northwestern Mexico, through a questionnaire that measures digital skills, confidence, freedom of expression, team discussion and organizational planning. A quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out in administration undergraduate students from a public university in Mexico. A questionnaire proposed by Nurabadi et al. (2022), which consists of 18 items grouped into 5 dimensions. The results revealed average digital skills of 3.49, confidence of 3.79, freedom of opinion of 3.63, team discussion of 3.93, and organizational planning of 2.60. In conclusion, it is necessary to develop digital skills, build trust, promote collaboration, freedom of expression in the digital leadership of university students, as well as improve strategic planning in the digital environment. These findings provide valuable information for educational institutions and those responsible for training digital leaders, with the aim of preparing students for a digitalized and competitive world.
