Sumario:This paper analyses the activity of fans who shipped two fictional lesbian couples from recent Rede Globo’s telenovelas. It proposes a reflection over the concept of fan activism (Bennet, 2012) by identifying the practices of LGBTQ communities who acted in order to defend lesbian representativeness in television. The research has a qualitative approach and made use of methodological procedures from Grounded Theory and netnography to process a data basis of 52 515 tweets.
