Resumo:The intention of this document is to explore the women political participation in a formal political process of federal elections 2012. An electoral process allows women’s activation on multiple levels and intensities and enables the learning about political rights and rules for access to the public power. Despite the development of women in public spaces and activities for decision making, there are still structural conditions that obstruct her participation in formal political process. The information presented is a quantitative data generated from the exploration of the database of the Instituto Federal Electoral about electoral process in Chihuahua and by interviews with representatives of political parties.
