Previously, this species was known only from the Pacific slopes of the Sierra de Miahuatlán and Mixteca Alta in Oaxaca.These new occurrence records extend the known range of this species by approximately 335 km from the type locality and increase the elevationalrange, indicating it is more widespread in the SMS.
