| Resumo: | The article uses the individual and community assets of the Province of Tlaxcala to analyze the impact on the assets of the Indian council and peoples caused by the Borbonic Reforms promoted in the late 18th century by the Spanish Crown. One of the privileges of the Tlaxcaltecan council, granted by the King of Spain, was hereditary ownership of lands and resources in the province, an argument that was successfully wielded to avoid the implementation of the rules of community and individual assets. |
