| Sumario: | This article addresses the role that conditioned monetary transferences play in indigenous Mayan communities of Quintana Roo’s income structure. The first section of this paper analyzes some fundamental concepts concerning the program Oportunidades, which is the main federal program further analyzed through the use of quantitative tools. The 2011 income structure in two indigenous communities in the municipality of Jose Maria Morelos, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Finally, recommendations are made in order to improve public policy and designed elements in this kind of programs. |
