Descripción
Sumario:In the 16th century it was common for gatherings to be held in which literary matters were discussed and perhaps Juan Bautista Corvera frequented them, as was the case with some authors who are included in the songbook Flores de baria poesía, and it is possible that in These areas knew the new forms and themes that affected the poetry of that century; Two poets participated in the debate on the Tenths around the Law of Moses: Hernán González de Eslava and Francisco Terrazas. Corvera's literary work would be unknown if he had not been persecuted by the Inquisition because of a couplet that was awarded and because of the process that was followed against him.
