Descripción
Sumario:The design and construction of a prototype cardboard compactor is detailed in this document. Compared to current commercial models, it is intended to significantly reduce the cost of production and allow a good volume of work. It will have a hydraulic power system and a frame that will make it suitable for outdoor use. The compactor will be controlled by a human-machine interface that will display at all times the variables of interest, such as the current weight in the prototype and the operating time, as well as the pressure applied using appropriate instrumentation. Finally, the compressed block can be ejected by means of a chain system. Thedevelopment of the project is based on the mechatronic design methodology and the tests carried out on the system are described, as well as the results and conclusions.
