| Resumo: | Considering that one of the most significant aspects of the changes in contemporarydemocratic life has been the dilution of traditional party loyalties. This article argues that,in Argentina, this process hinders the installation and survival in time of new partyorganizations, to which the institutional constraints of its political system are added. Thishas led to profound organizational changes in political parties, which have grown frombeing representative agencies to government agencies, and where leaders that holdelective positions of an executive nature are the ones who concentrate the economic andsymbolic resources. |
