| Resumo: | Human rights are a fundamental element for the development of societies. In the case of the Mexican state, it has granted them a constitutional and conventional character and, yet, official figures, academic and popular publications, as well as different media outlets, report that, for example, in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, there are serious violations of these rights. This article is a non-experimental, exploratory and descriptive research, in which, through a non-probabilistic, typical, and intentional sampling by convenience, it is aimed at identifying the observance of human rights in said locality, based on the perception of its Legal Operators. The results obtained show that in this locality there is an observance of more than 73 % of the human rights evaluated, an aspect that contrasts with the high official indicators on violations of this type of rights. |
