| Summary: | As an advance of a broader research project, this article displays the results of a preliminary descriptive approach to the master’s degrees theses presented at iteso and the University of Guadalajara, oriented by the analysis of the bibliographies contained in the theses. Some findings are emphasized: there are similarities between the “reference profiles” constructed for the two programs, and a shared relatively high proportion of references to Mexican research products, especially those whose authors are members of the faculties of the same programs. |
