Enseguida se estudia la forma canónica del matrimonio, tanto la jurídica, como la litúrgica, el lugar de su celebración, las formalidades subsiguientes, así como la forma extraordinaria y la obligatoriedad de la forma canónica. Contiene también el estudio de los matrimonios mixtos, el matrimonio bajo secreto, para finalizar con otras cuestiones matrimoniales como el vínculo, la igualdad de derechos y obligaciones, así como la convalidación simple y la sanación de raíz. / This paper starts from the origin of the word “marriage” and from the author’s concept, obtained by the study of the new Code of Canonical Law of 1983, then, analyzes the marriage purposes and the favor juris. It’s been analized also the consent, the impediments and the Jus conubii; the canonical form of marriage —liturgical and legal— the place of celebration, the formalities that should be followed to it, and the extraordinary marriage and the enforcement of the canonical formality.
