| Sumario: | This research’s objective was to determine if entrepreneurs from Tekax City displayed characteristics which encouraged innovation and if the manager’s profile constituted the main variable linked to innovative culture. A questionnaire type instrument was applied to a sample of entrepreneurs. Results showed that this does not encourage the necessary behavior needed to promote significant innovative culture and that they manage their companies in a traditional manner; nevertheless, in spite of these results and as found in other research, a manager’s style is the variable which strongly correlates with innovative culture. |
