Descrição
Resumo:This study looks at the problem of financing the process of investment of companies based on innovation as a mode of competition. The theoretical contributions made by Keynes and the Post-Keynesians on investment and its financing are itemized, with those traditionally founded by Schumpeter and continued in the contemporary theories of national innovation systems and network competition. The hypothesis is that the financing of innovation requires the formation of a public-private financial organization that generates a supply of funds suited to complex business demands, and that this is applied at the regional and local levels, with emphasis on small and medium-sized companies, complemented by non-financial services.
