Methodologically, through the comparisonof indicators on poverty measurement and economic dynamics is approached, a per capita export estimate and a correlation analysis are proposed to determine the affinity of each entity to insert in the globalization process via exports. This will allow us to establish some conclusions about the participation of the population in the exports and identify possible asymmetries in the distribution of income and its association with poverty.El presente estudio versa sobre la dinámica del desarrollo en México, acotando su dimensión a la región del noroeste, integrada por los estados de Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Durango, Sinaloa y Sonora. Metodológicamente, una vez abordada la comparación de indicadores sobre medición de la pobreza y dinámica económica, se propone una estimación de las exportaciones per cápita y un análisis de correlación para determinar la afinidad que cada entidad presenta al incorporarse en el proceso de globalización vía las exportaciones.
