| Summary: | This report reviews maize research and development in Pakistan over the past 30 years. The role, economic importance, principal production environments, trends in production, area and yields, marketing and price trends for maize in Pakistan are reviewed. The evolution of national maize research, the organization of research and the involvemment of CIMMYT are considered.
