Descripción
Sumario:Mexican rural areas could be fundamental elements to seek a new nation-state project with sovereignty, equality, democracy and sustainability. It is important toreassess food-supply sovereignty issues through a sound public policy that would strengthen local·markets and the local indigenous economy. While disputing development and rutal territory (DRT), it is necessary to review a focus on the rural development, as well as regain the notion of the so called "new rurality". Neoliberal economic policies broadly weaken our rural space.
