Our analysis is based on Sánchez-Albornoz' dissimilar texts published between 1930 and 1982 in order to assess, on the one hand, the continuance of his own ideas about the extrapolation of Spanish medieval experiences on the New World, and, on the other, his own appraisal of the American continent after his exile in Argentina during four decades. |
