| Sumario: | In this thesis is proposed a methodology to compare the chemical composition between the drug Ranitidine and the Milenrama plant through Raman spectroscopy obtaining its correlation coefficient. It should be mentioned that both treatments have an effect on the acid-peptic disease (AP) that is a public health problem in Mexico. To characterize the Raman spectrum of the medicinal plant, the algorithm of Scattered Representations (Sparse) was used, where Raman Milenrama spectra were obtained from samples of the plant that had been subjected to processes such as: lyophilization, extraction by supercritical fluids, Soxhlet extraction and the preparation of infusions, in order to obtain their main characteristics so that they were learned by the algorithm. Subsequently, 4 graphical comparisons were made: Milenrama- Patent Ranitidine (RVP), Milenrama-Generic Ranitidine (RVG), Milenrama-Ranitidine Laboratory of Similar (RVS) and Milenrama-Ranitidine composite with Bismuth Subsalicylate (RVSB). The highest correlation index was obtained between Milenrama and RVSB, with a 0.36 degree of correlation. This thesis addresses the strategy on traditional medicine developed by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2014, which highlights the need to promote the safe, effective and complementary use of traditional medicine (MT) through regulation and scientific research, the contribution is based on a methodology that applies the optical technique Raman spectroscopy (RS) and the computational technique scattered representations (Sparse) in order to analyze a medicinal plant and an equivalent drug. It is intended to create bases for the future to be able to use this methodology with any other medicinal plant and an equivalent drug that one wishes to analyze, and leave the way to develop deep research on the development of MT equivalent to drugs. |
