Sumario:The present investigation makes a description of the Aristotelian philosophy about mimesis and how this concept has evolved until our times to technology as techné that imitates nature. Likewise, three concepts that imitate nature for different technological applications are described: bionics, biomimetics and biomimicry, making a comparison between these three, as well as with an Aristotelian principle.
