| Sumario: | All anniversary offers the opportunity to make statements and conduct an inventory of what has been done, what is being done and what is to be done. and this opportunity becomes a challenge when we celebrate is the anniversary 50 of the foundation of the Center for Latin American Studies (CELA), Faculty of Political and Social Sciences. Two international conferences convened by the CELA we need an agenda for reviewing our past achievements and challenges for the immediate future. This is not the venue to reiterate them. Rather interested in broad strokes, stress here how life has been linked to our center with the major structural lines and critical junctures now and more clearly define some of the major trends of the future. |
