Sumario:This article analyzes the perceptions of health teams concerning Peruvian and Bolivian migrant women living in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. The research consisted of a qualitative, exploratory, and descriptive study based on 12 in-depth, semi-structuredinterviews. It documents various health teams’ views regarding the two migrant groups as well as their opinions about the factors that influence the women’s access to and use of public health systems during pregnancy and childbirth. The article emphasizes the importance of incorporating a historical, political, and cultural approach to migrant health care that can recover migrants’ individual histories and their specific needs in terms of health care access and cultural practices.
