| Sumario: | Abstract: In his last book, entitled Les nouveaux masques de l’extrême droite, Raphaël Llorca analyses the extreme right in France, represented by Marine Le Pen and Eric Zemmour in the 2022 presidential elections, through the notion of the mask that, at the same time, hides and shows. This metaphor allows the author to characterise the positioning, discourse and symbolism used by the far-right candidates. By emphasising the need to favour a systemic perspective, it allows us to understand the interdependence and interaction between the different candidates and their evolution throughout the electoral campaign. |
