| Sumario: | The purpose of this work is to analyze the way literary stractures are instilled in settled testimonies regarding travel narrations that show strong pretensions of scientism. In order to achieve this, we have analyzed which type of narrational resources Frédéric de Waldeck uses in his book Viaje pintoresco y arqueológico a la Provincia de Yucatán, 1834 y 1836, so as to get to define the journeys he makes and at the same time, to define himself as a particular type of traveller. |
