| Sumario: | This paper analyzes the process of privatization of health care services through the Public-Private Articulation (APA). The production of vaccines in Mexico is studied through the case study of Biological and Reagents Laboratories of Mexico, LLC (Birmex), company re - sponsible for the production, distribution and research of biologicals and reagents in Mexico. We specifically focused on Birmex’s performance during the Influenza A, subtype H1N1 virus pandemic. The results show that as a result of the liberalization and deregulation policies, there is an opening of public services to supranational corporations. |
