Sumario:The aim of the paper is to analyze the link between social risks and social inequality in Latin America, based on the economic, political and cultural transformations that have been occurring in the region in the last decades, with different magnitudes and intensities. Two distinctive features are stressed: increased social individualization processes and the coupling between dynamics and structural inequalities.
