Sumario:In the current context, psychology faces complex environmental, social and economic challenges, which drives it to constantly evolve, especially due to globalization and cultural diversity, an adaptive and innovative psychology is needed. Environmental Psychology emerges as a key strategy to shape an equitable and resilient future, exploring the interaction between the environment and human behavior.  The influence of the environment on mental health, as well as the design of spaces in connection with nature impact individual and collective psychology, addressing the environmental crisis and its role in mental health. Revealing how physical spaces affect emotions, behaviors and relationships, promoting social cohesion and improving quality of life, giving meaning to spaces and generating affective bonds, becoming an essential tool to improve the livability of spaces and build less polluted cities. Exploring emerging trends in Psychology, Digital Psychology, Applied Neuroscience and Environmental Psychology stand out as effective approaches to address contemporary challenges. Environmental Psychology influences sustainability and social equity, strengthening community resilience to extreme events. In conclusion, Environmental Psychology reveals itself as a key strategy to address current challenges and build an equitable and resilient future. It integrates environmental principles into decision making and policy design, creating sustainable environments that promote mental health and social equity. Psychology emerges as a proactive agent in building lasting social well-being.
