| Sumario: | The Educational Model of the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH) is oriented to the kind of university students that we want to model in their educational process. One of the structural dimensions of this Educational Model is Social Responsibility (Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo [UMSNH], 2020). This article aims to present the perception of RSU for its acronyms in spanish and sustainability in university students. For this, a digital survey based on the instrument (Likert Scale perception questionnaire) by Casillas (2018), with a total of 30 items, to a sample of 90 students (95% confidence level) and a margin error of 5% was applied in the month of May 2021. The study was limited to students cursing the Foreign Trade career located in the Lázaro Cárdenas city UMSNH Professional Unit. Among the main findings, there is a positive perception about the sustainability and social responsibility knowledge they have acquired. However, they also perceive the lack of involvement and promotion of sustainable projects as well as little interaction with social actors in the area.
