Sumario:The author analyzes the privatization behavior of the last three regimes, indicating that it constitutes an illegality against the future of the country, against the nationalistic policies implemented in the petrochemical branch, considered as anachronism by the neoliberal orthodoxy. In the article, it is discussed if the sale of the nation's patrimony in benefit of foreign investors solves the problems of the public debt and of deterioration of fiscal income. Finally, the technological, financial, efficiency and national sovereignty arguments of the present government are discussed, in order to justify the privatization of petrochemicals.
