Sumario:This article aims to contribute to the productive chains study at the Argentine automotive industry and its capacity to generate employment. Through the construction of our own indicators on production and employment multipliers, original data will be presented on direct and indirect generated employment by the Argentine automotive industry for the years 2007 and 2017; allowing, in addition, to compare the results with what happens in some other countries. to understand the ways in which the regional/global supplies and employment demand is articulated on the value chain.
