Sumario:To modify the map of political representation in Mexico, in response to a pattern of authoritarian and hegemonic party, were necessary a series of electoral reforms to build a competitive party system and a reliable electoral system. Taking the recent developments at the heart of the electoral system and party system, this article tries to answer how and what was it made the change from an authoritarian regime to a democracy.
