Celite Catalysed Alkylation of Alkenes
In the presence of Celite mono and disubstituted alkenescould be alkylated with benzylic halides at room temperature. Inorder to form the C-C bond, it was necessary to use activated aromaticswith alkenes or propargylic esters.
