| Sumario: | This research approaches two questions: the presence of gnostic theology in the thought of E. M. Cioran and his conception of early christianity. His point of departure is the assertion of the most important intellectual influences, in the case of this author, are found in the ancient world; his central hypothesis is that the romanian philosopher, to reviving some of the postulates of the gnostic sects, is actually trying to award, in the present time, a future to the christianity. |
