| Sumario: | Conopsis biserialis is small snake with terrestrial and diurnal habitats and a restricted distribution in Central Mexico. The use of underground microhabitats and the subterranean activities of this small snake are uncommon characteristics to observe. Here, the use of a subterranean microhabitat after the rainy season in two specimens of C. biserialis is documented for the first time, verifying the facultative capacity of this species for fossoriality. |
