Lectotypifi cation of Salvia elegans (Lamiaceae)
The purpose of this study was to perform an analysis and spatial-temporal dynamics of the gait in elderly, considering the speed, the practice of physical activity and gender. 38 subjects participated, both sexes, aged over 60 years. To collect the data, Kistler-Gaitway treadmill, 9810SI model with...

The procedures for date collection consisted of: Subject adaptation to the equipment (treadmill); weighing on the platform’s treadmill for standardization of data by the body weight (BW) and data acquisition itself with the sampling frequency of 600 Hz, for 12s, in the usual speed 4 km/h e 5 km / h respectively. The data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics. It was evidenced that the increase in speed caused an increase in length of the step, cadence, the first peak of strength and rate of acceptance of the weight, whereas a decrease in time to double support and the strength of medium support. It was found that practitioners of physical activities obtained higher average values for all variables, except in double-time support and simple support. Between genders, higher values were observed in the first peak of strength, second peak of strength, step length, time of simple support, time of double support among men, and higher values on strength of medium support, the rate of acceptance of weight and higher cadence among women.
