| Sumario: | The relationship between urban youth and the internet seems unavoidable. Day to day activities, desires, needs and interests of young people can be observed through the actions performed on the network, especially through social networks, websites, blogs and video blogs. These actions are valued differently by social groups, so that may be highly valued or, criticized. This paper show one reality and four myths about youth and the internet, in order to contribute to this issue from the field of communication and youth studies. |
