| Sumario: | This study examines the processes of youth inclusion, the scales at which they are defined, and the aspirations of young people in a first-tier cooperative in Soconusco, Chiapas. To achieve this, interviews were conducted with the sons and daughters of coffee cooperative members. Qualitative methodological tools included semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and field journals. The main findings explore the processes and decision-making within the cooperative and how these either hinder or enable the participation of new generations in various coffee-related activities. |
