| Sumario: | This is a research about the practice and perception of conjugal arrangements known as free, consensual, de facto or cohabitation among young Mexicans couples living in the City of Tijuana, Baja California. It is a documentary analysis study based in data obtained from previous investigations. The objective is to provide a perspective about the continuities and practices of change as well as the perception of these marital unions from the feminine side of the young Mexican women interviewed. Among the findings, these women point out that despite the marked increase in unions among new generations; the analysis of perceptions the young women show that there are no clear comparative advantages with this type of union with respect to normal marriage all information coming from a feminine perspective. |
