Sumario:The author makes a critic and gives the explanation about the absence of the Mexican migration to US theme inside NAFTA, the legal one or the illegal. He affirms that the absence is due to an agreement between governments, Mexican and the US one before NAFTA was negotiated, to not make rules about the theme supposing that the free trade would be the solution for migration long-term. So, the author makes an explanation about the different stages of Mexican migration problem has passed around NAFTA, explaining the impact and the migratory dimension in face of Mexican and US migration politics.
