Sumario:The electoral calendar in Mexico is been studied here with a comparative politics theory. It analyses different variables in order to create an analytical chart of temporal viability of elections at three scales: federal, state and local. The paper studies the excision or coincidence grade within different elections in Mexico. Finally it gets the conclusion that changes in the electoral calendar goes beyond the administrative level; it has to be also with the political scenario and the interests of the groups with representation in the political system.
