| Sumario: | A great majority of studies mark the importance of coastal systems, mainly in estuaries due to its high biological, physical and chemical variability as a result of variations in environmental parameters to seasonal level, with greater emphasis on diel level, allowing a closer the behavior of the composition in such systems. Reasons why this thesis was to determine whether patterns of distribution and abundance of benthic fish from the lagoon La Mancha, Veracruz are influenced by environmental parameters. For this lagoon biological material that was used, which was collected monthly during the period April 2012 to October 2013 to 270 m. Mouth system using a beach seine with mesh size of 1 cm in diel cycles (every two hours). Capturing a total of 1,385 individuals grouped into seven families, thoroughly describing eight of the 17 most conspicuous species: Ariopsis felis, Cathorops aguadulce, Citharichthys macrops, Citharichthys spilopterus, Citharichthys abbotti, Gobionellus oceanicus, Ctenogobius boleosoma y Dasyatis sabina. As for the fish diversity are five new records for the area, Gobiidae it was the family most diverse with five species, whereas D. sabina represented a 33.43% relative weight. The monthly distribution pattern has a greater abundance during the rainy season (June to September). A diel pattern varies depending on the species, eg., A. felis presented diurnal habits in contrast of C. aguadulce showed nocturnal habits, this segregation was also observed in C. abbotti and C. macrops with a preference for diurnal habits, while C. spilopterus by crepuscular. Finally, the historical and / or regional environmental parameters showed a more detailed explanation of the variation in abundance, minimizing variation of abundance explained by variables taken in situ (water temperature, salinity and dissolved oxygen). |
