| Resumo: | After Charles II of Spain death, Philip V of Bourbon received the Spanish Crown. The new monarchy initiated a series of changes known as the Bourbon Reforms, in order to principally centralize government, refloat finance and rearrange armed forces. Its history is originated in the New Spain at the moment Philip V ascends to the throne, but given its features and effectiveness, history place them between 1760 and 1821, lapse in which Spain tried out the most radical politic-administrative reforms, so as to transform power strings, politics and economics. Both of which had been focused in groups and corporations. One of the most important was the municipalities system. This essay is focused in the issue lived by sub-delegations during the government of the first two Guadalajara’s intendents, Antonio de Villaurrutia and Jacobo Ugarte y Loyola, in whose background, the war control of power fight against viceroys developed. This piece analyzes diverse regional events occurred in a span of ten years. |
