Descripción
Sumario:A review of the development of wind energy in Mexico is made, as well as the important aspects of the machinery and characteristics of the wind to carry out an implementation of a generating station that works at low speeds and at low heights with respect to the ground level. A methodology is developed that allows obtaining the parameters of aerodynamic profiles, using a simulation software for the wind tunnel and the behavior of the designed profile, obtaining a better use of wind energy. The proposed procedure leads to the choice of an optimal aerodynamic profile, which reduce the consumption of electrical energy in Mexican homes and industries that do not have sufficient wind speed.
