Sumario:In this review I work with the concepts of cultural landscape, livestock, nahualism, person in black-Afro-Mexican communities to make a critical review of Natalia Gabayet's work that was published in 2020 by Turner and UNAM. I also noted the academic and extra-academic importance of the recent publication, I read the main topics and ask some questions as a way to dialogue with the author.
