Sumario:This article discusses the trends of the environmental technological poli-cies and their relationship to the process of globalisation. The history of thelast thirty years and the trends of economical globalisation seem to showthat the policies of control of emissions, i.e. “end of pipe technologies”, arethe main priority. At the same time, the transnational enterprises, suppor-ted by the growing commercial liberalisation, have a role with ever moreimportance in the national and international environmental policies.They exert pressure to include only those environmental problems of in-terest to developed countries in commercial treaties
