Sumario:The objective of this research is to determine the level of competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, dedicated to food manufacturing in Tepic, Nayarit, using the Theories of Local Economic Development and Competitiveness. The research was carried out through the quantitative and qualitative approach; the document presents the classification of the companies, the population and the sample. A questionnaire was designed and applied to 65 companies, the instrument consists of 93 items and includes three sections: general data, internal characteristics of the company and the characteristics of the external environment of the company.
