Sumario:In this research, a study and an analysis of the relationship that occurs between foreign direct investment, FDI, and economic growth in the industrial sector of Bajío. Three entities are analyzed: Aguascalientes, Guanajuato and Querétaro. The indicators that served as parameters were: gross domestic product, GDP, human capital, health, employment and migration. The automotive sector is the most dynamic of the three economies, nevertheless the aeronautic sector’s takeoff. To argue our thesis of economic growth sustained in the Bajío, we contrast the numbers with those that exist in other regions and entities of Mexico.
